McLean Interiors is a full-service, boutique interior design studio with a passion for cultivating Soulful Spaces That Feel Like Home.
Our Dallas-based team partners with our clients to design thoughtful and curated spaces influenced by their unique stories and styles. We strive to build intentional relationships with our clients and trade partners and work diligently to execute each project with excellence.
From the start, we pride ourselves on learning the ins and outs of our clients, their lifestyle, and - of course - their aesthetic preferences. These puzzle pieces help define the spaces we are designing, blending our client’s vision with our style and experience to create spaces that meet the aesthetic and functional goals of the project – plus we have a lot of fun along the way!
A creative at heart, Allison has always had a passion for design. She likes to say she started her career at age nine during a kids summer camp called ‘Design Like a Pro.’ Over a decade later she began her ‘real’ career in hospitality design with a Dallas architecture firm proudly known for historic preservation and designing boutique hotels, bars, and restaurants.
Working on large-scale hospitality projects, Allison developed her craft for both design and execution. Creatively, she was empowered to “think big” and bring out-of-the-box concepts, designs, and storylines together while meticulously managing every step of the build process. Following her time with the architecture firm, she led interiors for a custom home builder where she fell in love with the relational nature of the residential world and working with families to create their dream homes.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, a supportive tribe, and passion for interior design, Allison founded McLean Interiors in 2020. That leap of faith has propelled a purposeful journey for her and her family. Years later, she continues to be energized by her client relationships and the opportunity to help discover and bring their styles and stories to life in an unexpected way.
Allison earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Auburn University with minors in International Studies and Business. She is NCIDQ certified and holds a License in Interior Design in the State of Texas.
We were able to walk away with spaces that feel unique and special to us and our lifestyle.
Just being around Allison is a joy. She's kind, fun, and we are so lucky to have her in our lives. And it's just a double win that she designs so beautifully and really understands our vision and how to bring it to life.

To live in your dream space that feels authentic to you and your family is absolutely priceless.
I don’t want to leave my space because it feels so damn good to be in. Perfectly curated and measured and thought out. Allison was able to give us access to ideas and pieces we would never have been able to find without her. Additionally, her knowledge on design spacing, measurements, heights, scale is something we could have never created on our own.

Allison thoughtfully interpreted our past and introduced us to what we love most... but it still feels like a reflection of us
Allison’s style is by far the most progressive yet classic we've ever seen and no one’s house looks like this. She gave us the encouragement to complete rooms and make them layered when we would have just moved on to the next and then regretted having a half-dozen half-completed projects. Trust her process and you can learn something along the way!

There is no project too big and no detail too small to receive her full attention.
Allison and her team are a joy to work with. When things don’t go according to plan, Allison keeps a cool head and finds strong solutions. We look forward to working with her in the years to come as our family grows and changes!

Allison did a fantastic job of creating beautiful and inviting spaces while also considering functionality of each space.
Allison was a joy to work with! She listened to our goals and desires for multiple rooms within our home. She then created a vision for these rooms that substantially exceeded our expectations.
